Road closure continues on Monday

Road works on the A47 are set to continue on Monday 31 July.
The works, set to take place on the A47, were brought forward due to a bad weather forecast.
Planned roadworks due to take place on 26 and 28 July on the A47 were moved forward to take place on Monday, 24 July, and Monday 31 July 2023.
The surface dressing of the A47 near Wardley, Rutland, will continue from 8am – 5pm on 31 July, meaning the road will be closed during these times and diversions will be put in place. To view live maps of diversions please go online.
Additional signs have been put in place and Rutland County Council (RCC) would ask all drivers to adhere to the diversion warnings.
RCC apologise for any inconvenience caused and will ensure that residents are informed of any further changes or updates via their website and social media accounts.
