Rutland Clothing Bank have released an urgent appeal for girls winter clothing aged 11 - 12 years.

The charity, which recently won the VAL award for 'Rutland Charity of the Year', have been working hard to clothe the community for over two years.

Rutlanders Helen Wolstenholme and Mandy Black set up the charity, which has jumped from strength to strength, earning a reputation for helping source school uniform, winter jackets, shoes, and much more to those in need in the local area. The team have also worked hard providing clothes for Ukrainian refugees over the past months.

Clothing donations can be dropped at Oakham Baptist Church.

Tom Bowring and the team at Oakham Baptist Church said: "As winter hits and the price of living soars, remember Rutland Clothing Bank is here to help. You can get in touch with Clothing Bank through their Facebook Group, on Instagram, or via Oakham Baptist Church.

"OBC and Oakham Churches are now partnering with Rutland Clothing Bank. If you or someone you know needs school uniform, winter coats or anything clothing then get in touch."

Contact the team on [email protected].
