Rutland Council reports fallen trees as it issues safety warning

Rutland Council has reported of fallen trees during last night's wind and rain.

The council reported around 9pm that trees were down at Tixover Grange - Tixover to Ketton Road and Rookery Lane, Tinwell, plus Exton Road, Cottesmore.

Crews were sent out to deal with the problem.

The council issued a warning for people to be alert and safe on the roads last night.

There were no reports of any damage or injuries.
