Rutland County Council reports closure on A606 following accident.

Rutland County Council have issued a report that the A606 has been closed just outside Stamford. 

There is currently no access to the A1 Northbound or Southbound. 

The incident has caused the closure of the A606 between the B1081 at Casterton and the A47 at Wansford. 

There has been reports of an air ambulance attending the scene with traffic built up in Stamford Town Centre. 

RCC is in the process of putting up road signs for a diversion route.
