Celebrate Rutland Day with a walking tour and performance by Rutland Morris

To mark Rutland Day this weekend, Rutland Morris will be performing at Oakham Castle at 10:50. This is part of a wider celebration taking place throughout the day at the castle, featuring other local organisations showing off all things Rutland.

The group is also leading a walking tour, which will stop at the following places: 

  • 10.00am Queen Elizabeth II statue/library, 
  • 10.50am Oakham Castle for Rutland Day, 
  • 11.45am Wheatsheaf, 
  • 12.30pm Tesco then Gaol St (or vice versa), 
  • 1.15pm Admiral Hornblower. 

There will also be performances as part of Rutland Day from Rutland Choral Society and local re-enactment group The Ferres Household. 

Rutland Day celebrations with run from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 14th September at Oakham Castle.
