This week, an Oakham school is seeking a Print Room Co-ordinator. Here is a brief job description.

"Macildowie are currently recruiting for a Print Room Assistant working for a School based in Oakham.This is a contract position until December 2021 working term time only.

You will co-ordinate work flow of the Print Services team to meet deadlines, whilst maintaining print standards and cost-effectiveness, and ensure safe working practices are adhered to.

THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prioritising Print Services jobs to ensure deadlines are met, the workflow is balanced and jobs produced most cost-effectively.

Managing the day to day maintenance of photocopiers and associated machinery, and liaising with the machine suppliers to arrange service and warranty repairs.

This role will require hands-on work and an expectation that you lead by example, carrying out the production tasks with the rest of the team.

Managing supplies for the various print systems across the school with the help of the Head of IT & DS.

EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

You must be competent with MS Office and Adobe Suite and have an understanding of a print management and ticketing systems. You must be able to produce print/copy to a high standard and have strong administration skills.

You must be immediately available to work.
