Rutland MP congratulates Biden after US media declare him the winner

Rutland MP Alicia Kearns has congratulated Joe Biden after US media yesterday declared the 78-year-old Democrat the winner of the US Presidential elections.
However, incumbent Donald Trump says he is planning legal challenges (see attached) against some of the most closely contested results, claiming fraud, and that he is instead the winner, which had seemed a strong possibility for a time.
Mrs Kearns said on Twitter: "Very many congratulations President-Elect @JoeBiden
and Vice-President Elect @KamalaHarris "! Here's to a bright future and continued friendship between our nations!"
