A Rutland mum and "experienced early years professional" has taken over Baby Sensory Stamford after first discovering the award-winning classes with her own daughter.

Charlotte Deedigan, who has lived in Rutland since 2019 and is mum to two children aged seven and almost two, is the new owner of Baby Sensory Stamford, bringing with her more than 10 years of experience working in early years education and a passion for supporting children's development during their earliest years.

Charlotte first attended Baby Sensory classes with her daughter, Freya and quickly fell in love with the experience.

"As a mum, I loved attending the classes with Freya and watching her confidence grow," she said.

"It quickly became the highlight of our week. At the same time, as an early years educator, I could clearly see the thought, research and developmental benefits behind every activity. It was the perfect combination of fun, learning and quality time together."

Baby Sensory is the UK's original parent and baby development programme and has been supporting families for more than two decades. Designed by expert Dr Lin Day, the classes provides carefully planned sensory experiences that encourage babies' cognitive, physical, social and emotional development during the crucial first year of life.

With over a decade of experience working in early years, Charlotte has always been passionate about giving children the best possible start in life.

"Early child development has always been a passion of mine. The first years of a child's life are incredibly important, and I believe parents deserve access to high-quality experiences that support their baby's development while creating special memories together.

Taking over Baby Sensory Stamford feels like a natural next step for me. Having experienced the classes as both a parent and an early years professional, I know just how special they are. I'm so excited to continue delivering these wonderful classes for local families and to share the magic of Baby Sensory with even more parents and babies across Stamford, Oakham and the surrounding area."

Baby Sensory Stamford with Charlotte starts on Tuesday 9th June and will run at Essendine Village Hall, Exton Village Hall and Easton on the Hill Village Hall, providing families in the area with access to award-winning baby development classes close to home.

Charlotte is looking forward to building on the fantastic reputation Baby Sensory Stamford already enjoys and continuing to provide a welcoming, inclusive space where parents, carers and babies can learn, play and connect.

Bookings are now open for both existing and new families.
