Rutland Police call on Oakham shop owners and workers to help them crack down on local crime and anti-social behaviour

PCOS Lauren Lyall and PC Hughes of Rutland Police are reaching out to shop owners and workers in Oakham with an opportunity to get involved working with the police to gather valuable information about local crime and anti-social behaviour.
They are inviting local businesses and shops to get involved as Key Individual Networks (KINS) to work closely with local police to help gather valuable information in the area.
The role of a KIN is to be the eyes and ears of the local police in the community. Local businesses are often the first ot notice unusual or suspicious activity and becoming a KIN can help the police respond quicker and more effectively to crimes in the area.
According to Rutland Police, becoming a KIN can help lead to "faster interventions, fewer incidents and safer environments for everyone."
If you are interested in becoming a KIN, get in touch with Rutland Police by privately responding to their Facebook post or emailing PCOS Lyall or PC Hughes with your interest.
