21st May 2021 | Local News

Rutland Police have warned that there maybe an illegal rave in the county this weekend.

The warning came from PC Joe Lloyd of Oakham and Barleythorpe Police in a video he put out on twitter.

PC Lloyd said earlier today that he was out and about carrying out pro-active patrols on Operation Galileo to stop hare coursing.

He also spoke of how the Leicestershire force, who also patrol Rutland, also 'suffer' from the activities of illegal raves and music gatherings.

He added police have received 'some information that there 'might' be one in the county this weekend.

He asked if people see anything suspicious let them know on 101.
