The Railway Inn in Ketton has been crowned East Midlands Pub of the Year 2026, with the owners 'astounded' by the news.
On Monday 3 August, Rutland CAMRA shared that The Railway Inn had been named the CAMRA East Midlands Pub of the year, beating out the winners of the Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire Pubs of the Year.
Posting on social media, The Railway owners said they were 'astounded by the new and didn't sleep much last night due to the excitement.
'[We're] humbled by the amazing response by so many people near and far. The Railway Inn team are so happy and without doubt, it's our finest hour.
'Thank you everyone for all your continued support. It means so much and gives us the drive we have to bring to the table what we do.'
