A local pub has welcomed back its popular lunch club following demand from the local community, who are hungry for more.

The Plough, a pet and family-friendly pub in the heart of Greetham, have announced the return of the Monday lunch club, and over 60's meal deal special offering two courses for just £6.99.

This offer is available from noon until 2pm every Monday to any member of the community, or visitor, over the age of 60.

This isn't the only exciting new arrival at the pub though... The team have also welcomed a brand new budgie to their aviary, hatched at the pub only three weeks ago.

While the animal-friendly pub are keen to share their wonderful news, they have also asked visitors to refrain from coming too close to their newest in their brood.

In the meantime though, you can bring your dog to the venue, pop in to visit the rabbits and enjoy a range of meal deals every day of the week - not to mention Bingo Night, Quiz Night, live music and much more.
