Rutland Recycling Centres to close early during heatwave

Due to the high temperatures forecast today, Friday the 12th of August 2022, Cottesmore Recycling Centre and North Luffenham Recycling Centre will close early at 3pm.

The sites will also be closing at 3pm over the weekend, Saturday the 13th and Sunday the 14th of August.

If necessary, the sites will close before 3pm if there are further concerns about the safety of site operatives and site users.

If you are able, please wait until Monday the 15th of August to use these sites.

Rutland County Council will announce further closures if necessary, and will update residents of any changes in the meantime.
