Rutland road closures and road works for the next seven days

The list details scheduled works - additional urgent roadworks may be necessary, for example if there is a power cut, burst water main or a gas leak.

Road closures

- Stretton Road lay-by, in Greetham - ongoing work being carried out by Rutland County Council and expected to be in place until mid-May

- Empingham Road, in Ketton - ongoing work being undertaken by Hansons now extended and expected to be in place until 21 February

- Post Office Lane, in Lyndon - work started by Severn Trent Water on Saturday (1 Feb) and scheduled for completion on Wednesday (5 Feb)

- Penn Street, in Oakham - Severn Trent Water works which got underway yesterday (Sun) and due to be completed on Friday (7 Feb)

Roadworks with temporary signals

- Hambleton Road, in Egleton - Severn Trent Water started works today (Mon) which are due to be finished by Wednesday (5 Feb)

- The Wisp, in Braunston - one day works by Rutland County Council tomorrow (Tues)

- Glaston Road, in Morcott - starting tomorrow (Tues) Rutland County Council works due to be completed on Friday (7 Feb)

- Stamford Road, in Empingham - one day works by Rutland County Council on Friday (7 Feb)

- Stamford Road, in Essendine - one day works by Network Rail on Friday (7 Feb)

Roadworks

- Station Road, South Luffenham - Network Rail started work today (Mon) and expect to be completed on Friday (7 Feb)
