Rutland road closures and roadworks for the next seven days

The list details scheduled works - additional urgent roadworks may be necessary, for example if there is a power cut, burst water main or a gas leak.

Road closures

- Stretton Road lay-by, Greetham - ongoing work being carried out by Rutland County Council and expected to be in place until late November

- North Luffenham Road, Morcott - ongoing work by Rutland County Council and due to remain in place until mid-November

- Main Street, Barrowden - Severn Trent Water starting work on Thursday (27 Aug) and scheduled to be completed on Tuesday (1 Sept)

- Market Place, Uppingham - closed on Sunday (30 Aug) for Uppingham First's Social Sunday

Roadworks with temporary signals

- Lands End Way, Oakham - Work being undertaken by ESP Electricity which is due finish on Friday (28 Aug)

Rutland County Council temporary traffic measures

- Mill Street, Oakham - one-way system, with vehicles travelling from north to south, until early February, 2021

- Market Place, Oakham - one-way system, access via Market Street only, until early February, 2021 - lifted on Wednesday and Saturday
