Rutland & Stamford Sound is joining a local multiplex owned by Creativity Media Services Ltd.

The radio station has been online since it launched after the rebranding of Rutland Sound to Greatest Hits Radio.

The multiplex also now carries Embrace Radio and Massive Hits.

The team celebrated three years of Rutland & Stamford Sound in April. Having launched a campaign for an FM license last summer, they have welcomed a great deal of community support.

The community radio station has been fighting for an FM licence, with the support of Rutland and Melton MP Alicia Kearns, so this comes as a big win for the team.

The team took to social media to share the news: "Rutland & Stamford Sound is COMING SOON to DAB! Listen out for more details."

Alternatively, follow the radio station on Facebook for updates including when they will be launching on DAB.
