The Rutland Water Parkrun team are looking for volunteers.

The fun run organisers have put out an appeal on social media for volunteers to help out at the Rutland Water-based Parkrun event this Sunday.

As half-term comes to a close this weekend, the team are short staffed with many taking holiday, so are looking for volunteers to help out with their Junior Parkrun event this Sunday, 4 June.

The event is a free, fun, and friendly weekly 2k event for juniors aged 4 to 14 year olds).

It begins at 9am and is open to new and experienced runners, to take at their own pace.

The event takes place at the Normanton Church, South Shore, Rutland Water Reservoir, Oakham, LE15 8RP. Please park at The Waterside Cafe, Rutland Water Reservoir, Normanton Road, Edith Weston, Oakham, LE15 8HD.

See the Course page for more details.

As we come towards the end of half term, a number of our regular volunteers are still away. Our roster is looking quite empty so if you can help us, please comment or email us [email protected]. Thank you@RutStamSound @DiscoverRutland @ActiveLincs @ActiveRutland pic.twitter.com/ik8POp7eiU
