Rutland Water with roaches and bait balls to appear in Winterwatch tonight

The best of Rutland Water's wildlife will be shown on tv tonight.

Nottingham-based underwater photographer Jack Perks commented today: "Tonights @BBCSpringwatch is going to be a treat (I mean they all are) I'd been pitching the baitball story for 4 years & ended up filming it last year the day after my wedding! I

"It's got camera traps, big trout and thousands of roach what more do you want! 8pm BBC2 #Winterwatch."

Jack also said on twitter yesterday: "Looking forward to tomorrows episode of @BBCSpringwatch you'll see me filming the largest freshwater bait ball in Britain!"
