The Lions Club of Rutland are helping Santa visit Oakham tonight on his sleigh, raising money for brilliant local charities. 

Last year, the Lion's Santa raised £2,075 for local community organisations.

Having already done 6 days of visits around Rutland, Santa and his elves are visiting Oakham tonight, starting at Queen's Road from 5.15 pm. 

Here are the planned routes: 

Thursday 19th December from 5.15pm 

Queen's Road, Woodland View, Beech Road, Willow Crescent, Ladywell, Heron Close, Martin Close, Plover Close, Wren Close, Jay Close, Kestrel Road, Bullfinch Close, Nightingale Way, Kingfisher Close, Redwing Close, Patridge Way, Chaffinch Close and Robin Close. 

Friday 20th December from 5.15pm 

Graffham Drive, Willoughby Gardens, Hilltop Drive, Mendip Road, Chiltern Close, Hectors Way, Cold Overton Road, John Clare Close, Parkfield Road, Hill Road, Princess Avenue, Westfield Avenue, Kings Road 

Sunday 22nd December from 5.15pm 

Spinney Hill Static (Priors Close junction), then onto Stamford Road, Sculthorpe Close, Alsthorpe Road, Tolethorpe Close, Hambleton Close, Wensum Close, Gunthorpe Close, Pickworth Close, Normanton Drive, Snelston Close, Hardwick Close, Horn Close, Alsthorpe Road.
