Choice unlimited Rutland is staging an information event at Oakham's Rutland Showground later this year.

The event - on Wednesday, 23 October - will showcase services, information and products for disabled children, young people, adults and their carers.

Choice Unlimited is the market place for independent living, led by disabled people.

The event will see a range of organisations represented focusing on useful topics including information and advice, health and wellbeing, things to do, education and learning and support for families.

The event is being held on Wednesday, 23 October from 12noon to 6pm at Rutland Showground, Showground Way off Burley Park Way, in Oakham.

Entry is free and refreshments will be available to purchase.

Free transport is also available to Rutland residents to and from the event and can be booked by calling or texting 07973 855246 before 12noon on Tuesday, 22 October.
