Shoplifter steals from Oakham garage twice in one day

A shoplifter stole more than £170 worth of goods from an Oakham service station when he visited twice in one day.

The man first called in at the garage, on Hackamore Way, at about 3pm last Thursday (13 Aug).

He picked up £94 worth of items from the shelves and then left without paying.

Approximately two hours later he returned and stole another £83 worth of stock.

The thief is described as white, around 6 feet 4 inches tall, slim with blonde hair.

A Leicestershire Police spokesman asked anyone with information to contact the force by calling 101 and quoting crime reference number 20*420416.
