The D'Ukes of Rutland are partnering with Lavender Mill Dementia Day Service for a special fundraiser on Friday 20 March.

The D'Ukes of Rutland are Rutland's fabulous Ukelele group, regularly performing at lots of community events, including the CAMRA beer festival and Rutland Variety Show.

Lavender Mill is day service based in Cottesmore, offering engaging and supportive day care and outings for elderly, isolated individuals and those suffering from dementia.

The fundraiser will take place on Friday 20 March, raising funds for NHS charity Horatio Gardens.

Horatio Gardens create and expertly staff beautiful outdoor spaces in spinal rehabilitation centres around the country.

Donations to Horatio Gardens help them fund and support patients in their transformative gardens, offering a place to reflect, reconnect with nature and explore a new, safe environment.

The fundraising performance by the D'Ukes of Rutland will be part of Lavender Mill's usual day sessions, so you will be able to join in the fun at Cottesmore Village Hall.

For updates about this event and more information, visit Lavender Mill's Facebook page.
