Thursday Night Dinner at The Fox & Hounds

The Fox and Hounds will be back with their £12 Thursday special on 28 March 2024.

This week's dish will be delicious pork belly with mash, veg and jus.

Head down to 6 Somerby Road, Knossington to join the fun.

Rutland Library Big Book Sale

The Rutland Library Big Book Sale is back on 30 March at the monthly, cash-only event. 

Browse and buy used books, comics, DVDs and more between 9am and 1pm.

Live Music at The Plough

On the evening of Saturday 30 March, The Plough Inn is welcoming back by popular demand the Prosecco Gecko Party Band.

Come along and join in the live music night for free from 8pm, everyone welcome.

Join the team early for a bite to eat from their menu, packed with homemade pub classics.

Don't forget, The Plough will also be hosting their weekly quiz on Thursday 28 March from 7:30pm. The event costs £1 per person to enter, max 6 person per team.

Easter Opening at Oakham Castle

Oakham Castle will be open on Good Friday, 29 March, and Easter Sunday, 30 March.

The castle will be open from 10am until 4pm, but closed on 1 April.

Pop Up Tap Room

A Pop up Brewery Tap Room at Baker's Dozen Brewing will be taking place on 30 March from 12pm.

Come down and enjoy beer direct from the brewery and have a look around to see where the Baker's Dozen team brew. They will have cask and keg beer plus cans and bottles. Crisps, nuts plus pork pies from June's Farm (based in Whitwell) are available for snacking, and there is a heated mezzanine to chase away that spring breeze.
