Thursday Night Dinner at The Fox & Hounds

The Fox and Hounds will be returning with their Thursday night special on 16 May 2024, and this week the team are dishing up chicken leg steak with crushed new potatoes and mushroom sauce.

Fro just £12, every week the team put on a popular meal deal, and you can head down to 6 Somerby Road, Knossington to join the fun.

Quiz Night and Fishy Fridays at The Plough

The Plough in Greetham will be hosting its weekly quiz on Thursday 16 May from 7:30pm. The event costs £1 per person to enter, max 6 person per team.

You can pop in early for a bite to eat - or join the team on Friday instead for their Fishy Friday meal deal.

Oakham in Bloom Quiz Night

Join Oakham in Bloom for an evening of brain-teasing fun at the group's annual quiz night.

Mark your calendars for May 18 at 7pm, and head over to the All Saints Church Hall for a quiz extravaganza like no other.

The team have introduced a "whole new level of quiz experience" with their brand new sound system - ensuring every question, answer and laugh is heard loud and clear!

Best of all, your participation supports a wonderful cause - all proceeds go to Oakham in Bloom charity initiatives, making the local community bloom brighter than ever.

Rutland & Stamford Sound: On Stage

The local community radio station, Rutland and Stamford Sound, is hosting a showcase of local musical talent at Stamford's Corn Exchange this weekend. 

Rob Persani, Mick Meadows and other presenters from Rutland and Stamford Sound will be introducing local artists and acts at the jam-packed evening of entertainment.

Rutland and Stamford Sound on Stage is at 7:30pm on Saturday 18 May. Tickets are priced £15 and are available now from the Stamford Corn Exchange box office.
