To celebrate British Pie Week, a Greetham pub is extending its popular pie night beyond its usual Tuesday night offering.

The Plough will be featuring a different guest pie every night from March 4 to 10 - with the pies supplied by award winning master butcher Owen Taylor & Son.

"British Pie Week is running next week, to celebrate we are extending our already popular pie night over the whole week (except Sundays) and even better all our pie meals - pie, chunky chips or mash, seasonal vegetables or mushy peas plus our rich gravy - will be available buy one get one for just £2.95," the team said.

"All our meat pies will be supplied by our award winning butchers Owen Taylor & Son.

"These guys are the only supplier we use for our meat products and have been with us from day one when we opened nearly five years ago.

"Every day we will be featuring a different guest pie and announcing it on our social media the day before. Many of these pies have won numerous awards."

The Plough is a cosy spot for families, couples, tourists, locals and dog-lovers, providing great food, wonderful service and a strong sense of community - something the pub is proud to nurture in both staff and patrons.

Headed up by landlord, Peter, the team has also announced a change to its weekly Tuesday Bingo night, which will now start eyes down at 7pm after a number of requests from customers.

The team said this has already made a "massive difference" with over £300 and two meat hampers given out as prizes in the past two weeks.

Tables are also booking up fast for Mother's Day. Featuring The Plough's already very popular Sunday menu, all mums will be treated to a glass of fizz free of charge!

Call the team on 01572 813613 to book your spot.
