Head to Rutland Farm Park this summer holiday for a hands-on and memorable family day out

Looking for plans to keep the kids entertained this summer holiday? Rutland Farm Park is the perfect family day out, including meeting animals, enjoying their café, hands on opportunities to pet and feed the animals, kids' activities and an outdoor play area.

Rutland Farm Park is situated just outside Oakham and is a lively working farm helping visitors to enjoy the outdoors, learn about animals and create wonderful memories.
They have a great variety of animals that visitors can meet, from giant shire horses to tiny guinea pigs. For people wanting to get more hands on, there is also the opportunity to feed their cows and alpacas or pet their friendly bunnies and slimy snails.

The Farm Park also has a small outdoors play area for kids to let off some steam or you can enjoy a bite to eat or delicious homemade refreshments.
They have some special workshops running in the school holidays too, with Campfire Cooking on Tuesdays and Arts and Crafts on Thursdays. These sessions need pre-booking on the Rutland Farm Park website.

This year they are also offering a Summer Pass so you can return as many times as you like for just 91p per day. The farm park is open from 10am to 5pm every day during the summer holidays with last entry at 4pm.
