Rutland Lions Firework Display

The annual Rutland Lions Firework Display is returning this November 8 at Rutland Showground.

There will be two fabulous firework displays from 1st Galaxy Fireworks, with tickets available in advance or on the day.

All proceeds will go to charity.

Music for Remembrance at All Saints Church

On Saturday 8 November, there will be Music for Remembrance at All Saints Church in Oakham.

There will be performances by Rutland Concert Band with an appearance by award-winning soprano Katie Marshall.

The concert will start from 7.30pm with tickets costing £5 on the door.

Funds raised will be going to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

Introduction to Painting with Acrylics at Oakham Enterprise Park

This four-hour course is a great introduction for any adults wanting to dabble in acrylic painting in a small, friendly group.

The course will explore the fundamentals of painting with acrylics, with practice in mark making and painting techniques and produce exploratory work.

This course is at Rutland Adult Learning and costs £35 or £17.50 concessionary fee.

Children in Need Jumble Sale at Harringworth Village Hall

On Saturday 8 November, there will be a jumble sale raising funds for Children in Need between 2pm and 4pm at Harringworth Village Hall.
