Thursday Night Dinner at The Fox & Hounds
The Fox and Hounds is hosting its weekly Thursday night special on 27 June 2024, and this week the team are serving up salmon and haddock fishcakes with new potatoes and tenderstem broccoli.
For just £12, every week the team put on a popular meal deal, and you can head down to 6 Somerby Road, Knossington to join the fun.

Quiz Night and Fishy Fridays at The Plough
The Plough in Greetham will be hosting its weekly quiz on Thursday 27 June at 8pm! The event costs £1 per person to enter and you can have six people per team.
Residents can pop in early for a bite to eat - or join the team on Friday for their Fishy Friday meal deal instead!

Sound Bath
Experience the immersion into the therapeutic world of sound in Oakham at the Quaker meeting house on Saturday 29 June.
A "deeply relaxing and healing experience", attendees relax on a yoga mat whilst the instructor plays a variety of beautiful instruments to bring you back in to balance effortlessly.
Sound healing is an "ancient art used for thousands of years for calming and tuning the mind while re-balancing the body by releasing tension and subtle energetic blockages. A sound bath is a deeply relaxing and simple yet profound way to connect with the centre of our being."
There are two events one from 2pm - 3pm and another at 3:30pm - 4:30pm, and you can book online.

Live Music at Cutts Close
Join Oakham Town Council and the local community on Sunday 30 June at 2.30pm at The Band Stand in Cutts Close Park, Oakham.
The Atomics will be playing a fabulous mix of tunes from the late 70s and 80s era - songs by Blondie, The Pretenders, The Police, Squeeze, The Cars, Nik Kershaw, Duran Duran, Elvis Costello and many more!
