Oakham businessman Nick Henbrey awarded prestigious Chartered status

Director of Oakham business Grayson Lewis Financial Planning, Nick Henbrey, has been awarded the title of 'Chartered Financial Planner,' celebrating his high standards of practice and exemplary capability in his profession. 

Chartered status is an exclusive title which is only awarded to those who meet a vigorous criteria outlined by the Chartered Insurance (CII). This includes carefully following the CII's Code of Ethics and demonstrating the highest possible standards of professional practice.

Starting his career in the Royal Navy as a Submariner, Nick made the big decision in 2019 to change to a career in Financial Planning. His experience with the Navy gave him lots of valuable transferrable skills for his new role and within two years of beginning his studies, he achieved Fellowship – the highest and most coveted qualification in the industry. 

"As soon as I began studying towards my career change," says Nick, "it has always been my goal to achieve Fellowship. To now have also been awarded Chartered status is a very proud moment."

This award is held by only 5,000 individuals, showing the exclusivity of the award and how special it is for Nick to have this title.
