Tickets on sale for 190th Rutland County Show
Having taken place in the county for nearly 200 years, the Rutland County Show is back in June and tickets are on sale now.
With just a month to go before the 190th Rutland County Show, the excitement has begun to build as the showground begins its transformation into the show site.
Over 150 stands have already been confirmed, selling a range of goods from unique crafts through to delicious local food and drink and everything in between.
In addition to this, there will be live music performances by local bands at the Grainstore Bar as well as the award-winning EAGA Gospel Choir, loads of free activities and displays throughout the show including beautiful florals in the Horticultural Tent.
Of course, attendees shouldn't forget to meet the heavy horses - an impressive lineup of gentle giants - alongside cattle, sheep, goats, horses and ponies. Local animal lovers can also bring along their dogs to take part in the dog-show, one of the many ring show attractions and competitions hosted at the annual event.
A highlight of the show, of course, as the ring attractions, which this year include the Shetland Pony Grand National and Ridgedale Falconry and, back by popular demand, BoldDog FMX, who perform heart-stopping stunts on their motorbikes once again.
There will be so much for all the family to enjoy, plus free parking and a free shuttle bus between the show and Oakham and Uppingham for attendees.
For further information, timetables and more, head to the Rutland Showground website, where you can also purchase tickets.
