A popular Oakham business has been making around the clock to restock her varied and growing mug collections.

Connie Taylor Ceramics, based on Mill Street, has been creating bespoke, handmade ceramics for over three years.

Connie's mugs are one of her most popular items and they are all made on a pottery wheel with handles traditionally pulled to fit your hands.

Connie has launched a new collection of beautiful handmade mugs (Connie Taylor).

All mugs are suitable for the dishwasher and microwave, and oven-proof.

About her new 'Peek-a-Boo' mug, Connie said: "The snails and hedgehogs couldn't have timed their arrival at the Studio and Shop any better - just as the first snow of the season has appeared the little creatures are celebrating their snow day.

"Each mug tells a different story from the woodlands and gardens around us, each with a little surprise looking up at you as you are enjoying a hot drink.

"For each hedgehog mug I will donate 10% of the retail price to Prickleback Urchin Rescue to support their important work."

Each Peek-a-Boo mug tells a different story from the woodlands and gardens (Connie Taylor).

Connie Taylor Ceramics is open 9.30am-5pm Tuesday to Saturday.
