Half Term Fun at Rutland Farm Park
Between 16 and 19 February, Rutland Farm Park have lots of fun activities on to keep the kids entertained this half term.
Everyday between 11am and 2pm, get up close with the farm's cutest residents with the guinea pig meet and greet.
As always, the familiar faces are also ready to greet you at the farm, with horses, cows, alpacas, donkeys and pigs.
Make sure you bring your wellies because, as is always the case in February, the farm is very muddy.
Once you've explored the farm, outdoor play and woodlands, reheat with a hot drink and food in the café.
To find out everything you need to know before visiting the farm this half-term, visit the Rutland Farm Park website.

Little Shop of Horrors at Stamford Corn Exchange Theatre

Meek flower shop assistant Seymour pines for co-worker Audrey. During a total eclipse, he discovers an unusual plant that has strange dietary requirements. As the plant grows and becomes more demanding it promises fame and fortune, which leads Seymour to extreme measures to feed the plant.
The musical is loosely based on the low-budget 1960 black comedy film The Little Shop of Horrors, but follows the story of the 1980's musical remake with Rick Moranis and Steve Martin in the style of early 1960s rock and roll, doo-wop and early Motown.
Family Nest Box Building at Anglian Water Bird Watching Centre
National Nest Box Week in 2026 is February 14th to February 21st and encourages people to put up nest boxes to provide nesting and shelter opportunities for birds, helping to address the shortage of natural nesting sites.
Bring the family this half term and create a home for birds at our woodland workshop!
Work together to create your very own nest box to take home!
Session will last approximately 2 hours.
Suns Out, Puns Out at The Sun Inn
The Sun Inn in Cottesmore is holding a new act/ new material comedy night where four comedians will test out their fresh new material.
