Tis the season of giving, and the team at Rutland Farm Park are helping you get in the festive spirit by offering sponsorship packages for the new baby bunnies, and other rare breed animals, at the local attraction.

Headed up by owners and hands-on managers Clive and Julie, Rutland Farm Park has been a top spot for grownups and children since it reopened in 2017 after being closed for over a decade.

It brags a range of attractions and features, including a café, play park, animal petting and feeding sessions, a selection of home and handmade and allergy-friendly goodies available at Daphne's tea room, holiday activities and a collection of rare breed animals.

This Christmas, you can embrace the opportunity to sponsor one of these rare breed animals, or one of the adorable baby bunnies, from as little as £10.

Sponsorship is a great, clutter-free gift for the animal lover in your life, the relative who has everything, or the generous loved-one who wants to 'give back' this festive season.

Sponsorship funds go towards the upkeep of the farm and the animals, and range from £10 - £35.

Farmer Amy explained: "The money from the sponsors helps toward the upkeep of the animals, for example, the horses get a visit from the farrier every five to eight weeks for some TLC - something that the animals need all year round, not just for Christmas! Prices vary from £25 per a horse to £205, the bigger the more expensive, especially for Bridie who has her shoes replaced regularly."

The team also use sponsorship funds to cover the cost of feed, vaccinations and treats for the range of animals at the farm.

While the farm is hoping to launch a sponsorship page on the website very soon, for now you can enquire about sponsoring an animal or purchasing a sponsorship pack as a unique Christmas gift by calling the team on 01572 722122 or emailing [email protected].

Alternatively, pop down to the farm from Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm.
