The Great Oakham Easter Egg Hunt Is On

By The Editor

26th Nov 2021 | Local News

The search starts tomorrow for 20 'virtual' Easter eggs hidden in Oakham – as the Rutland Lions Virtual Easter Egg Hunt gets underway.

Combining the traditional fun of an egg hunt with new tech, as smartphones really bring the search to life, the fun runs on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week from 10am to 4pm starting at Oakham library.

The aim is to help accompanied children up to aged 13 to find each egg, and find and name each LOGO to win chocolate.

The eggs are hidden all around Oakham's Heritage Trail which takes in some of the town's most well-known buildings and features.
