On 27th April 2025, multiple roads in the centre of Oakham will be closed to facilitate the start and end points of the Rutland CiCLE Classic 2025 bike race. On this day, the race will start and end on Mill Street in Oakham, meaning that road and the surrounding roads will be affected by the race. 

Rutland County Council report that the following roads will be closed between 8am and 5pm on Sunday 27th April: 

• Mill Street, Oakham 
• High Street, Oakham 

These roads will be closed between 8am and 1.30pm: 

• Market Place, Oakham 
• Station Road, Oakham 

Parking will be prohibited along both sides of High Street, Oakham from Church Street junction to Mill Street junction and in the Market Place.
