The winners of the 2026 Muddy Stilettos Regional Awards have been announced with three Rutland independent businesses taking top spot.

The 13th annual 'Muddy Awards', ran by the UK's number one women's lifestyle platform Muddy Stilettos, has announced their winners of the regional 2026 awards for Northants, Leicestershire and Rutland.

According to Muddy Stilettos, nearly half a million votes were cast nationwide, making the awards a great way for locals to say thank you 'to their most love indie shops and destinations, and for independent businesses to use the accolade of a Muddy Award to grow their business further.'

Three businesses in Rutland took the winning spot, beating businesses from across Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutland.

The Best Artisan Food and Drink Producer was won by The Rutland Vineyard in Ketton. The vineyard is a multi-award winning single-site vineyard that offer a great selection of their own wines, as well as freshly ground coffee and delicious cakes, as well as offering guided tours.

The Hide at Manton Bay won Best Boutique Stay. The Hide is a camping and glamping spot that offers a unique hide away surrounded by trees, orchards and vineyard, on the edge of Rutland Water, with stunning views and the opportunity to reconnect with nature (and maybe even spot a Rutland osprey).

The third winning business is Rutland Hall in Oakham won Best Wellness Break. Rutland Hall Hotel is unique lakeside hotel and spa situated in 70 acres of parkland, offering luxury spa treatments, a leisure club and beautifully curated dining experience.
