A local pub is bringing back their popular pizza menu this New Year - as well as hosting a range of family and pet-friendly events to keep the whole family entertained.

The Plough in Greetham, a seemingly quaint country pub, is at the heart of the lively local community and is a hive of activity throughout the week.

Offering meal deals, music nights, bingo, a weekly quiz and more, the pub has become a popular spot with villagers and residents across Rutland, and always promises a great night out and friendly atmosphere.

Now, the team have brought back their pizza menu, which was discontinued when they introduced their popular Giant Yorkshire Pudding Money meal deal - something you can still enjoy at The Plough all season.

On top of this menu change, The Plough is also getting ready to host its first Berni Night.

Berni Inn, the chain restaurant, was the first tase of eating out for many in the 70s, and often meant steak and chips, prawn cocktail, black forest gateaux and other classics that are now not so easily found on pub menus across the country.

For those of you looking to throw it back to 'the good old days', you can enjoy Berni Night at The Plough on Saturday 20 January 2024.

Pub favourites and Greetham locals, Black Jack, will also be performing at the pub on Saturday, bringing Berni-era classics to the pub in honour of the event.

You thought they were done? Oh no! This week the team are also hosting a Burger Week extravaganza, bringing you the best of their ever-popular burger menu at bargain prices.

Landlord, Peter, said: "Running alongside our normal menu we have all of our burgers, plus a guest burger each evening on buy one, get one for just £2.50.

"Famous already for our burgers, this is a huge deal not to be missed."

You can also enjoy £1 off on pints throughout January every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 4pm and 6pm.
