A Turkish Grill will soon be opening in Oakham.

An Authentic Turkish Charcoal Grill is set to open in Oakham, next to Jashir in the former home of The Dovetail.

Jashir, formerly The Royal Duke on West Road, recently moved into 51 - 53 High Street. Now, a Turkish grill looks set to move in alongside the popular Indian restaurant, filling the empty unit at 53.

While there was scepticism among Rutland residents on social media when Jashir relocated to the large venue, the team - headed up by Nilesh Patel - have had incredible success since they opened in June.

Jashir has been fully booked almost every weekend since it opened. Image credit: Jashir.

Following on from this success, a new Turkish Grill will be moving in next door - a style of cuisine that cannot yet be enjoyed in Oakham.

It has not been confirmed when the new restaurant will open, but signage is up and work has begun inside the High Street venue.
