Rutland Libraries are helping new school starters get ready for school as the summer holidays draw to a close.

New school starters, and those who are nervous about returning to school this September can head to Rutland Libraries to pick up some literature on beginning the new school term.

Oakham and Ketton Libraries have set up displays of books including the likes of 'I Have to Start at School Today' and 'Lulu's First Day.'

A spokesperson for the group said: "If you have a little one starting school or nursery this year, Rutland Libraries has lots of lovely books that could help them to prepare or get used to their new routine.

"Sharing a story can be a great way to get little ones ready for the first day of school and help with a range of feelings and emotions.

"See the displays at Oakham and Ketton Libraries, check out our online catalogue or just ask on your next visit to any Rutland Library!"

Find Oakham Library at Catmose St, Oakham LE15 6HW.

Ketton Library is located 67 High St, Ketton, Stamford PE9 3TE.
