Two Chimps Coffee of Pillings Road in Oakham has been named as a finalist in two categories in the 2026 BizX Awards.

Celebrating its tenth year in operation, Two Chimps Coffee has already won or been named a finalist in several regional and national events, including previous BizX events.

This year, the roastery, led by Head Chimps Andy and Laura, which opened the doors back in 2016, reached the final five in the Best E-Commerce Business and Green Company of the Year categories at the event, which featured businesses of all sizes from around the UK.

With a target of reaching Net Zero by 2040 and a commitment to sustainability throughout the business, the Green Company of the Year nomination was a huge victory in itself for the Two Chimps team, who recently installed solar panels on the roastery's roof, which have the potential to power up to 98 per cent of the business, saving the company money and reducing its carbon footprint.

In the Best E-Commerce Business category, reaching the final five businesses shows just how hard the seven-person team has worked behind the scenes at the Rutland roastery to deliver the best possible service to online customers across the United Kingdom.

Head Chimps Laura and Andy, who personally attended the event, said: "Wow – what an event.

"We had the opportunity to listen to great speakers, meet new people, an amazing couple of days in Newport. At the awards dinner, seeing our name on the board in front of thousands of people was such a great moment, but seeing it twice was unreal.

"We're so happy with the results and are so proud of our amazing team!"

Two Chimps Coffee have also been nominated at the SME Leicestershire & Rutland Business Awards, which take place in May, where a panel of judges will decide if they take home an award
