Two new flats could be created on Oakham's High Street, if plans are approved by Rutland County Council.

Trustees of Crowson Developments has applied for the "change of use from commercial to residential to create two one-bed flats" at 6A High Street, Oakham.

According to planning documents, no changes to vehicle access to the courtyard are planned and there are no plans to add parking spaces specifically for the flats.

The applicant says the ground floor of the premises is currently vacant but was used most recently by a TV retailer.

A decision is expected regarding these plans in the coming months; the full planning application can be viewed here.
