Two shotguns stolen in Whissendine house burglary

Two shotguns were stolen from a house in Whissendine on Thursday.

Burglars smashed a window to get into the property in Mount Pleasant Hill.

A Leicestershire Police spokesman said: "Items were stolen, including two shotguns from a cabinet.

"No-one was in the property at the time of the incident.

"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances including the time of the burglary and to locate the items stolen."

Anyone with any information in relation to the burglary should contact 101 quoting incident 19000624302 of 21 November.
