Oakham foodies and barbecue enthusiasts are in for a treat as the Weber Grill Instructors arrive at Gates Garden Centre, to prep hungry visitors for the fast approaching barbecue season.

An event not to be missed, this exciting showcase is set to take place on the 10th, 11th and 12th of June 2022 and will include hands-on barbecue demos from the experts, as well as hints and tips on how to create the perfect steak or pizza in just five minutes.

A treat for all the senses; visitors will be able to roll up their sleeves and cook alongside skilled Weber Grill Instructors, receiving insider knowledge on how to cook the 'Weber Way' on a selection of award-winning barbecues. In addition to this, everyone who registers to attend the Discover Weber events nationwide will go into a weekly draw to win a top Weber prize – a Go Anywhere charcoal barbecue.

Established in 1948 by Fred and Ivy Gates, the garden centre was originally created within the walls of a large Victorian kitchen garden belonging to Cold Overton Hall.
