Rutland Farm Park's vintage tractors have returned the the yard.

Headed up by owners and hands-on managers Clive and Julie, the farm has been a top spot for grownups and children since it reopened in 2017 after being closed for over a decade.

It brags a range of attractions and features, including a café, play park, animal petting and feeding sessions, a selection of home and handmade and allergy-friendly goodies available at Daphne's tea room, holiday activities and a collection of rare breed animals.

Now, they have welcomed back their collection of vintage tractors, which are still in use at the popular family attraction.

The team shared the news on social media: "Our vintage tractors are back in the old Victorian farm yard, all thanks for farmer Steve. I think he was super happy to be driving them around again judging the smiling in his face!

"Please feel free to have a sit and even get a photograph, but make sure you tag us, and most of all, please please be gentle with them as we still have to use them, they won't be any good if they're broken."

To tag the team, follow them on Facebook and Instagram.

They continued: "Farmer Amy is also currently working very hard to brighten the old yard up and has got a lot of ideas coming this way! We can not wait to see it when it's finished. Please bear with us in the meantime."

While these promised ideas come to fruition, the team are making it as easy as possible to navigate the farm yard with temporary signs highlighting their established and new attractions at the Uppingham Road venue.

The team said: "Lots of exciting things to come this year, but whilst we renovate - which will take some time - we have made a temporary sign board. This should hopefully help you find everything you need to find."

They are open:

Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm, and on Mondays during the holidays, including bank holidays.

Tickets can be purchased on the door, or pop to Daphne's tea room without paying entry for a coffee, cake, ice-cream and more. Family and season tickets are also available to purchase online

Parking is free, and you can purchase extras like animal feed on the day – just be sure not to feed the horses.
