Virtual Easter Egg Hunt by Rutland Lions returns to Oakham
By Grace Kennington 7th Apr 2026
The Lions Club of Rutland are back again this year with their annual virtual Easter Egg hunt, raising funds for local community causes.
On 9 and 10 April, from 10am to 4pm, Rutland Lions are holding their annual virtual Easter Egg hunt from Oakham Library.
Ideal as a family activity during the Easter holiday, the Easter Egg hunt involves walking a route around Oakham to find 20 brightly coloured pictures of eggs to match up to solve clues.
The challenge starts at Oakham Library with a creme egg or piece of fruit for energy.
To prove they have completed the challenge, participants must take a photo of each egg and return to the library to show the Lions.
Once the answer sheet has been handed in, participants can then check their answers and confirm their total number of eggs.
Packets of mini eggs with be rewarded to those who take part.
