Valentine's Tea & Tour

Spread the love early this year with the Oakham Castle Valentine's Tea & Tour, including a walking tour of Oakham with tea or coffee and biscuit or cake to finish at Castle Cottage Café.

The tour will take place at 3pm on Saturday 11 February and last approximately 50 minutes.

Seed Swap at Oakham Castle

Try something new this Valentine's Day with your loved ones.

Encourage your love to 'bloom' this year and try out some couples growing and gardening with the Annual Seed Swap at Oakham Castle, hosted by Root-and-Branch-Out CIC.

Pick up some FREE seeds, exchange seeds and share gardening tips with some pros.

All are welcome.

This event will take place from 11am until 1pm on 11 February 2023.

Valentine's Two to Tapas

Enjoy Valentine's Day at Rutland Garden Village's 'Radish' restaurant on 14 February 2023.

Start with a glass of pink fizz, and enjoy a range of tapas including chilli king prawns, chorizo, balsamic figs and more.

Round your meal off with a luxurious fondue to share.

The menu is £55 for two people.

Valentine's Day at Rutland Hall Hotel

Make your 'someone special' feel extra special this Valentine's Day by treating them to a delicious three-course dinner, in the Rutland Hall Hotel & Spa Blossoms Restaurant, just one of their recent renovations.

Join the team for a three-course extra special dining experience, with live music on 14 February.

Dinner will cost £45pp. Alternatively, prices for dinner, bed, and breakfast for two people sharing a double bedroom start at £196.

Valentine's Fondue at Ovation

Valentine's week is fondue week at Ovation Wine & Spirit Bar on Oakham's Gaol Street.

If you don't mind sharing your food, then this one's for you!

14, 15 and 16 February, the popular wine and spirit bar will be hosting gooey, delicious cheese fondue evenings.

This costs £35 per couple, which gets you all the cheese and 5 dipping options.
