What to expect at Rutland and Stamford Pride

Pride is returning to Oakham on Sunday 10th August with a day celebrating our vibrant LGBTQ+ community.
On the day, there will be a March from Cutt's Close Park. Those wishing to participate can meet at 10am and the parade will begin at 10.15am.
The main event will take place at Oakham marketplace from 10am to 11pm.
Oakham will be all decked out to mark the occasion with a Big Window Competition. The window shop competition invites local businesses to showcase their vibrant creativity and celebrate love, acceptance and community through Oakham.
Windows will be judged between 28th July and 10th August, with winners being announced during Pride on Sunday 10th August.
There will also be performances from Teddi the Drag Queen, Grant Carter, Red Ammunition, Sapphire, Sir Lady Muck, Berrylicious, Gutter, Miley Virus, Miss Hannah Rack, Mx Holly Would, Gabriella Pineda-Rodrgues, James Edmonds, Ages, Paul McClure, KNYLIA, 2020 vision and more.
There will also be a fun fair by Revolution Disco and Leisure.
If you work up an appetite partying, there will be food provided by local vendors, including Wah Gwann Jamaican Cuisine, Griff's Pizza, Bake-a-Medic, El Ajolote Mexican Food, Oakham's Hungry Birds, and Smok'n Greek BBQ.
