Thursday Night Dinner at Fox & Hounds

Every week, the team at Fox and Hounds serve up a special Thursday Night Dinner (Fox & Hounds).

The team at The Fox & Hounds in Knossington be hosting their weekly Thursday night special on 22 August, and this week the team are serving up Real Ruddles ale battered local haddock, chips in beef dripping and crushed minty peas.

For just £12.95, every week they put on a popular meal deal, and you can head down to 6 Somerby Road, Knossington to join the fun.

Rutland Beer Festival

Rutland Beer Festival takes place Thursday to Monday (The Grainstore).

The annual Rutland Beer Festival will be celebrating its 24th year in Oakham this bank holiday weekend. 

The event, held at The Grainstore Brewery, brings together a wide range of real ales from around the UK. 

Featuring over 70 real ales with an array of golden ales, stouts, bitters, porters and barley wines, there will also be a wide selection of traditional ciders on offer.

Aspen Manor Summer Party

Aspen Manor Care Home will host a summer party on Saturday 24 August (Aspen Manor).

The Aspen Manor Care Home Summer Party and fete will take place on 24 August from 2pm-4pm.

The event will be 1940's theme and welcome the blue bird belles, an amazing 40's and Vintage Harmony Group!

Stapleford Railway Open Weekend

Featuring multiple locomotives in steam, the nearly two mile line will be operating from 10am to around 4.30pm subject to weather and passengers.
