Quiz Night at The Plough

The weekly quiz at The Plough is a popular event at friendly village pub, and will be taking place again on Thursday 2 November. 

The event costs £1 per person to enter, max 6 person per team. 

Winning team get a round of drinks, and all teams go into a draw to crack the safe, so you don't even have to 'know it all' to be in with a chance to win big.

Thursday Night Dinner at The Fox and Hounds

The Fox and Hounds will be hosting their £12 Thursday special again on 2 November.

This week's dish is , and you can enjoy a £3 Atlantic Pale Ale and other discounted drinks too.

Head down to 6 Somerby Road, Knossington to join the fun.

The Vaults Beer Festival

Head down to The Vaults Beer Festival from 3 - 5 November, where you can enjoy a great selection of real ale, live music every night and a range of pop up food stalls.

Music will take place from 8pm on Friday and Saturday, and from 5pm on Sunday.

Lions Club of Rutland Fireworks Display

Remember, remember the fourth of November! That's when the Lions Club of Rutland will be hosting its annual Fireworks Display at Oakham Rugby Club, Rutland Showground.

Two fabulous displays from 1st Galaxy Fireworks will take place at 6.15pm and 7pm to mark the annual commemoration of Guy Fawkes.

Tickets are still available online. On the day, online tickets are £4 for youngsters aged 5-16 and £8 for anyone 17 or over. At the gate tickets are £10. In all cases, entrance is free for children under the age of 5.

The gates open at 4.45pm and fireworks kick off at 6:15pm.
