The Manfreds at Stamford Corn Exchange Theatre

Following their 2023 tour, The Manfreds are returning to Stamford Corn Exchange Theatre on Thursday 21st November 2024.

As one of the most respected bands from the 1960s, The Manfreds will be performing many of their top hits, including 'Do Wah Diddy Diddy,' which is one of their most instantly recognisable songs from the 60s.

Combining unique harmonica sounds with a mix of jazz, blues covers and their recognisable tunes, The Manfreds promise a brilliant night.

Mini Christmas Market at The Helenium Tearoom

The Helenium Tearooms at Barnsdale Gardens will be holding a Christmas market on Friday 22nd November between 4pm and 8pm.

With a special menu on offer to mark the occassion, this Christmas event is the perfect way to get stuck into some Christmas shopping. There will be beautiful stalls in attendance, including glass jewellery, flower arrangements and handmade soaps.

Delicious food will be available to eat in or take away, as well as the tearoom's popular homemade cakes.

Oakham Christmas Craft and Gift Fair at Victoria Hall and Wisteria Hotel

Running Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th November between 11am and 3pm, Carolyn Acton Events will be hosting a Christmas Craft and Gift Fair at Victoria Hall and Wisteria Hotel in Oakham.

There will be stalls inside both venues selling unique handmade crafts and gifts.

Entry to this event is free but all donations will go to Rutland Medical Solutions.

'Darkness to Light' Concert at Oakham School Chapel

Oakham Choral Society will be performing their 'Darkness to Light' concert on Saturday 23rd November at 7.30pm.

This will include Tomas Dickinson as baritone, Evie Holder as soprano and John Mountford as conductor.

Christmas Light Switch On at Oakham Market Square

This years Christmas Light Switch On in Oakham will be held on Sunday 24th November at 4pm.

There will be a visit from Father Christmas, funfair rides and hot drinks available from Cafe Allez between 3pm and 4pm.

Thursday Night Dinner at Fox and Hounds

Fox and Hounds have two festive specials on this week (Fox and Hounds).

The team at The Fox & Hounds in Knossington be hosting their weekly Thursday night special on 14 November, and this week the team are serving up roast turkey, chicken, Lincolnshire sausage and bacon terrine OR crushed roots, sprouts and duck fat confit potato, sage and red currant jus.

For just £12.95, every week they put on a popular meal deal, and you can head down to 6 Somerby Road, Knossington to join the fun.
